The Amazing Spider-Man lies wounded in the streets of New York after being soundly defeated by Electro in the previous issue. As the angry mob closes in on the injured web-slinger, an unlikely good Samaritan comes to his aid — the Sin-Eater! Later on when Stan Carter appears on a local television show to talk about Jean DeWolff, a furious Spider-Man jumps onto the set, only to be followed shortly thereafter by Electro!
